7 Nights/8 Days covering Guwahati /Kaziranga/ Meghalaya

Day 1 : Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway station --
Meet and greet by our representative heading to Hotel and check-in visit kamakhya Temple shakti peeth on Nilachal Hill, Umanada island (optional boat ride) , brahmaputra River sunset cruise (optional). Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati to Kaziranga national park (5 – 6) hours--
Early breakfast and drive to Kaziranga national park . Check-in to the resorts at Kaziranga Ranges, relax or take a short walk to nearby village or tea garden evening cultural programme by local tribal group is optional overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 3: Kaziranga jungle safari --
Early morning elephant safari in western (Bagori) range – spot one horned rhinoceros, return for breakfast , heading and visit Kaziranga orchid park and local weaving centre. Afternoon jeep safari in the prime range which is Central (Kohora) range.
overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 4: Kaziranga to shillong (6-7) hours--
After breakfast, drive to shillong called “The Scotland of East “and the capital city of Meghalaya. En route stop at scenic umiam lake for sightseeing and photography. Check-in to hotel and relax, evening adventure time at police bazaar (local market) overnight stay at shillong.

Day 5 : shillong to Cherrapunji, full day trip to Cherrapunji, sightseeing to Nohkalikai Fall, seven sisters falls ,Mawsmai cave, thangkharang park, eco park , then return to shillong in the evening overnight stay at shillong.

Day 6 : Mawlynnong and Dawki day trip , drive to mawlynnong (Asia cleanest village) explore the village, balancing rock and living root bridge , continue to Dawki enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear umngot river and view the indo-Bangladesh border return to shillong overnight stay in shillong.

Day 7: shillong local sightseeing shillong peak, elephant fall, lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco museum, and then drive back to Guwahati overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 8: Departure from Guwahati, breakfast and check out transfer to Guwahati airport/railway station for departure, tour end happily.

5 Nights/6 Days covering to pobitora wildlife sanctuary / Manas National Park / Kaziranga national park

Day 1: Arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi international Airport / Railway Station Guwahati, meet and greet by our representative. Drive to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary known for its high population of one-horned rhinoceroses (50 km / 1.5 hrs) Check-in at your resort / hotel. Evening village walk or cultural interaction with local communities (optional) Overnight stay at Pobitora.

Day 2: Pobitora Jeep Safari, transfer to Manas National Park (270 km / 6 hrs) Early morning Elephant Safari (best for rhino sightings). Breakfast at resort. Drive to Manas National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Indo-Bhutan border. Evening at leisure Overnight stay at Manas.

Day 3: Manas National Park - Safari & Exploration, Early morning Jeep Safari in the core area look for elephants, bison, wild water buffaloes, and even tigers.Visit the Bhutan border village (Mathanguri) inside the park for stunning views of the Manas river and Bhutanese hills.

Optional: Bodo cultural performance in the evening (on request), Overnight stay Manas.

Day 4: Manas to Kaziranga (370 km / 7-8 hrs), Early breakfast, Depart for Kaziranga National Park - another UNESCO World Heritage Site and India's flagship rhino sanctuary. Arrive by evening and check-in at your lodge, Relax after a long drive, Overnight stay at Kaziranga

Day 5: Kaziranga - Early morning Elephant Safari in the Central (Kohora) or Western (Bagori) Range, Return for breakfast after lunch, go for Jeep Safari in the Eastern (Agaratoli) Range - excellent for bird watching and wild elephants.

Visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park (optional), overnight stay at Kaziranga

Day 6: Kaziranga - Return to Guwahati (220 km / 5 hrs) – Departure After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati.

Optional: Visit Kamakhya Temple, Umanada Temple , or Brahmaputra River Cruise if time permits, Drop at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.

5 Nights / 6 Days covering Kaziranga, Majuli Island, and Jorhat

Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station meet and greet by our representative and drive to Kaziranga (5 hrs / 220 km),Check-in at resort/lodge, Evening at leisure or visit nearby tea garden/local tribal village, Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 2: Kaziranga - Elephant & Jeep Safari

Early morning Elephant Safari in Central/Western Range - best for one-horned rhino sightings, Return to resort for breakfast ,after lunch, Jeep Safari in Eastern Range - known for birdwatching and scenic views.

Day 3: Kaziranga to Majuli Island (160 km + Ferry),Early breakfast, depart for Majuli Island via Neemati Ghat (Jorhat),Board local ferry (1 hr) across the Brahmaputra to reach the world's largest river island. Check-in at traditional bamboo cottage/Homestay,Visit Samaguri Satra (mask-making monastery), Auniati Satra, and Dakhinpat Satra.Enjoy traditional Mishing tribal cuisine and evening cultural interactions,Overnight stay at Majuli.

Day 4: Explore Majuli - Transfer to Jorhat (1.5 hrs ferry + 20 km drive),Morning walk or cycling around the island villages,

Optional: Pottery village visit or fishing demo with locals.

Return by ferry to Neemati Ghat, then drive to Jorhat,Check-in at tea estate bungalow or city hotel, Overnight stay at Jorhat.

Day 5: Visit Cinnamora Tea Estate or Sangsua Tea Garden of Jorhat to experience tea plucking and processing,Visit Tocklai Tea Research Centre (Asia’s oldest tea research station).Explore Jorhat city - local market, historical sites like Thengal Bhawan.

After lunch, drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, The Umngot river is the natural boundary between RiPnar or Jaintia Hills with HimaKhyrim of Khasi hills over which a single-span suspension bridge was constructed. After breakfast visiting The Gurdwara and Taposthan

It is said, 400 years ago when Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was on his way to Tibet through Mechuka, he meditated on these two spots, one-is known as Gurdwara which is taken care of and managed by Indian army and the other is called Taposthan which has an interesting story. It is believed that while Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and his disciples were meditating, a wild bear attacked them. A boulder was lifted to save Guru Nanak and today the impression of Guru Nanak’s face can be seen on the huge boulder.

After drive to visit Samsen Monastery

Built in the 14th century, the SamsenYongcha monastery is older than the revered Tawang Monastery. Located on a hilltop at the village’s western edge, this ancient monastery has beautiful statues of Guru Padmasambhava and fascinating masks of mythological figures that are used during the Chaam dances (a lively masked and costumed dance associated with some Tibetan Buddhist festivals).

Day 14: Mechuka to Aalo
This will be a day-long journey so everyone should have to get ready early in the morning. After early breakfast we will start our journey towards Aalo.

Day 15: Aalo to Pasighat / 3 Hrs +-

After breakfast, we will move towards Pasighat. It is located at a distance of 145 Kms from Along on the bank of  river Siang . It is the land of two famous tribes Passi and Minnyiong. 

 

Day 16: Pasighat Sightseeing

After breakfast, Proceed for the local sightseeing like Pangin, Komsing, KekarMonying, DibruSaikhowa National Park, and the Siang River.

 

Day 17: Pasighat to Dibrugarh Drop / 3 HrsApprox

After breakfast, drive for Dibrugarh After spending more than a week amidst the serene hills, we will be in the plains of Assam. After reaching Dibrugarh, we will take you to the airport to drop you off with the sweet memories of northeast India.    

 

Drop at Dibrugarh Rly Stn / Airport.
